Our Fountaine Pajot Saona 47, a 2021 model sailing catamaran, Alegria, is a luxurious and modern, spacious vessel designed for comfortable cruising and living aboard. Our Alegria is undoubtly the most well equipped and fully customized Saona 47 in Greece. Here are some key features and characteristics of the Saona 47: Designed by Fountaine Pajot, a renowned French boat manufacturer, the Saona 47 features sleek lines, modern styling, and high-quality construction. It is known for its stability, sailing performance, and seaworthiness.

The Saona 47 is a large catamaran, measuring approximately 14 meters (47 feet) in length. She offers a spacious 5 cabin layout with ample living areas both indoors and outdoors.

The interior of the Saona 47 is designed for comfort and functionality. Each of the cabin has its own en-suite bathroom, providing comfortable accommodation for guests. The saloon and galley areas are spacious and well-appointed, offering plenty of room for dining and relaxation. For charter purposes the 2 single bunk bed cabin is occupied by the crew. 4 double en-suite cabins are ready to accommodate up to 8 guests for multi day charters and up to 12 guests for day charter trips.

Outdoor Spaces: The Saona 47 typically features expansive outdoor living areas, including a large cockpit and foredeck with ample seating, sunbathing areas, and a flybridge with a coffee table. An advance provisioning allowance (APA) equivalent to approximately 25% of the weekly net rate will be charged in addition to the weekly rate to cover the operating expenses of the charter such as fuel, Drinks and spirits food, as per your preference list**, port fees, harbour dues, customs, water and electricity, personal laundry, all provisions, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables for your party.

You're welcome to view the APA tally onboard at any time and when your cruise comes to an end, the captain will work out if you owe us, or if we owe you!

Price Includes: Yacht and her equipment, Skipper service by experienced RYA/MCA Yachtmaster/instructor captain on board, Cook/Hostess* service, provisioning service, linen, pillows and blankets, bath towels (set of small and big), beach towels, bath amenities, Unlimited Internet Wi-Fi by droadband internet router, yacht's 3rd party insurance & Personal Accident Insurance, No security deposit is required, No damage waiver is required, Not any hidden costs.
Price does not include: Fuel (for boat and tender), trip expenses, any tickets or entrance fees, marinas/harbors/canals costs, provisions and meals (all food and drinks for passengers and crew, on and off board), relocation fees if any, cleaning/transit service, Starlink satellite internet service fee, crew gratuities (always at client's discretion, for exceptional service offered, typically 10-15% of charter price). Most of the above mentioned costs are covered from APA.

* Cook-Hostess prepares and serves breakfast, lunch, and aperitifs. She/he is ready to prepare up to 2 dinners on board per week, if no restaurant available ashore. Also, takes care of daily cleaning, bed making, provisioning and freshening up of toilets, and assists skipper in navigating and maneuvering.
** Full Preference List is sent to the charterer about five to six weeks before embarkation and has to be sent back at least two weeks before in order the crew be able to start the preparations/provisioning/yacht logistics on time. Captain RYA/MCA

Dimitris was born and raised in Kalamata. He is a highly enthusiast experienced captain, born in 1985. His wide versatile sailing career ranges from thousands sailing miles in the Greek seas, Atlantic Ocean and Persian Gulf. His participation in various significant sailing championships Worldwide with the landmark of winner 2019 European Sailing Championship in Helsinki, has equipped him with the right standards of experience and discipline required in this kind of job while being a licensed Yacht Master Offshore RYA/MCA. His broad participation in various teams such as the Yacht club of Greece and national team of double handed 470 Olympic dinghy class has provided Dimitris with great interpersonal skills such as creativity, structured thinking, good sense of humor, confidence, kindness, punctuality and on top of everything, "safety first" alertness. His pool of interests ranging from extreme sports such as windsurfing, cycling, diving and in combination with his two university diplomas in Civil Engineering and a ten year working experience abroad in Abu Dhabi UAE and in Greece will make Dimitris the ideal multifaceted personality captain who will make your trip even more delightful, comfortable and memorable.

Qualifications: Yacht master offshore power & sail 200Gt commercial endorsed | STCW10 | Powerboat license by Hellenic Coast Guard | First aid certificate | VHF Short range certificate | Level 1 sailing instructor HSCA | PADI open water diver.

Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, NTUA, 2010 | MSc in "Analysis and Design of Earthquake Resistant Structures", NTUA, 2012.

Languages: Greek | English (Proficiency) | French (basic).

Interests: Dinghy sailing competition, snowboard, wind surfing, squash, pilates, sailing instructor, Making-fixing things and constructions.

Konstantina Tsiouri
Cook/Hostess

Konstantina was born in an Arcadian peaceful village surrounded by wild nature. After her graduation in pedagogy, she combined her deep relationship with soil and plants with the design and animation of educational environmental programs. She has made permaculture philosophy a way of living and she is very keen in collecting wild food in any terrain in every little chance. She has acquired endless wisdom from herbs and plants. Her passion for wellbeing has been fulfilled with her training in various massage practises. Recently she applied this culture and knowledge in producing therapeutic and cosmetic products. Cooking for her is a high act of caring and loving. Seasonal and local are the guidelines for picking up the best ingredients. Keeping in mind to preserve the nutrients and the intensity of flavours she cooks light and clear. After all, food more than pleasure remains our medicine! Growing up in an extended family in a small village with intense interactions, she enjoys company and community living. Participating in several courses of group animation and theatrical games she always cares about team spirit and dynamics.

In the sector of service she has 15 year experience working in hotels, restaurants and cafes. She takes sincere pleasure in serving and cooking for many people as this is a part of her personality.

Qualifications: Open Sea Sailing Diploma | First Aid Certificate.

Languages: Greek, English (fluently).
